FAQs
- 1. Is staging necessary and does it work?
- In a national survey done in 2004-2005, homes staged by Accredited Staging Professionals (ASP™) sold for 6-10% more than comparable non-staged homes and in half the time. Staged homes stand out in the market and generate more interest among realtors and buyers.
- Occupied Homes: The way you live in your home and the way you want to sell your home are two different things. Staging freshens up your home's look to make it universally appealing and to create a calm and relaxing environment so buyers can imagine themselves in THE home rather than in YOUR home.
- Vacant Homes: An empty room looks significantly smaller than a furnished room and buyers have a very hard time imagining whether their possessions will fit into an empty space. A staged home takes the guesswork away from the buyers and helps create an emotional connection with the property, leading to a faster sale.
Our staging plays up the selling points of the property making the house look its best, setting it apart from the non-staged houses on the market.

- 2. Is staging expensive?
- We can do as much or as little as needed to work into your budget. If you have the time and energy to do the work yourself you can start with our basic consultation, which starts at $200 depending on the size of your property. Remember, your home is your greatest investment so a little time and money spent up front will result in a quicker and more profitable sale. The amount you spend on staging will be considerably less than a price reduction on your house when it doesn't sell.
- 3. How long does it take to stage a house?
- A consultation can be arranged within days from your call and the active time spent staging an occupied or vacant house is usually one to two days.
